Dear Friends:
Welcome to Boundless Hearts. Boundless Hearts is an aspiration I borrowed from the inspirational Metta (loving-kindness) Sutta (like a sermon) in the Pali Canon in the Buddhist contemplative tradition. The Metta Sutta states in part:
…As a mother would risk her own life
to protect her child, her only child,
So toward all beings should one
Cultivate a boundless heart.
With loving-kindness for the whole world should one
Cultivate a boundless heart… (translated by Gil Fronsdal)
So I bring this Boundless Hearts aspiration to my work in helping others in these very difficult economic times. It is times like these that cause some people to lose it all. I want to help you keep it real on spiritual, mental, emotional, psychological, ethical and financial levels. I draw on the wisdom from a variety of faiths and sciences. I intend to post a reflection regularly. If you like to read, I’ve written some books for you.
Thank you for visiting Boundless Hearts. Let’s try to get through these hard times together.
